Arrival-Corinth
Transfer from Athens airport to the beautiful wine city of Peloponnese, Nemea. You will have a stop by the significant handmade Corinth Canal connecting the Aegean and the Ionian Seas. Check in to your hotel and relax with free time.

Nemea Wine Tasting
After your breakfast you will visit a winery that produces some of the finest and famous wines in Greece. You will walk around the beautiful vineyards, collect grapes, depending on the season. A tour there will give you an idea about the production procedure as well as various details about different varieties of wines. Then you will have the chance to taste some wine varieties along with a light lunch of traditional food. Head back to the hotel for leisure time.

Nafplio
Today we will see the first capital of Greece and important port, Nafplio, located by the sea. The city has an impressive city center full of pedestrians, traditional-style buildings and stores, along with many fortifications like Palamidi and Bourtzi. A visit to Palamidi Castle on the top of the cliff, offers one of the most impressive views of the town and makes the visitor familiar with its important history that goes back hundreds of years. Free time here is a must to walk through the city or by the sea and taste the local street food.

Porto Heli-Spetses
After breakfast, we will drive to the seaside amazing town of Porto Heli passing by plenty of beautiful villages. Then we will take the ferry for 10 minutes sailing to the cosmopolitan island of Spetses which is forbidden for cars and transportation is only by foot, riding (horse and donkey) and bicycling, as well by small motorcycles. You will have an amazing horse-riding experience or a nice walking tour around the capital of Spetses learning the local history or shopping. Sail back to Porto Heli for either watersport activities, swimming, sunbathing, shopping or tasting the local restaurants and bars. Back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Astros
After breakfast, you will head towards the amazing fishing village of Peloponnese, Astros. You will visit Lucus Monastery of the 2nd century and of big importance along the history of the area. The area has amazing beauty beside the Tano river. In the afternoon you will have free time either to enjoy the sunset at the beach or to taste various delicatessen local sea food and fresh fish with ouzo by the sea.

Fishing Tour
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the port of Astros to take a boat and experience a fishing tour that sails you along the coast of Astros to see the details of the art of fishing, all learned by local fishermen, with their experience going back many years of tradition. Returning back to shore you will get to enjoy what you caught in your net, along with some wine offered at a local tavern. Head back to the hotel for leisure time.

Medieval Monemvasia
Today you will visit the beautiful medieval town of Monemvasia, at the southern part of Peloponnese. You will have the opportunity to explore the old Castle city with its medieval fortress, Byzantine churches and great walls that used to be part of the citadel from the 6th century and after. The local shops are ready to satisfy every taste along with the walk around beautiful alleys and unique landscapes as well as the amazing sea view beneath will make your day.

Diros Caves
Today you will drive through plenty of great nature passing many villages to the Pirate’s village of Oitylo, a seaside beautiful picturesque village of Mani. You will visit the beautiful naturally shaped Caves of Diros that are formed in the Neolithic era and are located at the west side of Mani. Impressive shiny stalactites and stalagmites create a unique ambient that amazes every visitor. Half of the tour is by boat that enters the cave and the other half of the tour is by foot, inside the cave. It is better to wear non-slippery shoes and comfortable warm clothes, due to the Cave’s low temperature. At the nearby museum you will have the chance to see many fossil bones of different animals that have been found inside those caves, even some potteries that indicate human presence there.

Water Sports
Today is for fun, relax and sea activities where you will visit a beautiful organized beach at Oitylo and the day doing water sports like canoeing, snorkeling, scuba diving and many other options. You can rent a four-person pedal boat and water cycle around the shore. Dive in the beautiful blue waters of secluded beaches or spend the day on your sunbed, enjoying snacks, coffee or drinks, by the sea-side bar restaurant. Head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Kardamyli-Kalamata
Today you will pass through an indescribable beauty to the amazing village of Kardamyli with its majestic cypress trees and the wild olive groves. Kardamyli is known for its fantastic beaches and its medieval castle. Then we will continue to Kalamata, the second larger city of Peloponnese. Here we will visit the Monastery of St. Constantine and Helen which has been internationally awarded and well known for its finest silk products like scarfs, dresses and several fabrics. The city is also known for the famous Greek traditional dance “Kalamatianos” and attracts thousands of foreign and local visitors every year. We will have time for leisure, shopping and tasting local food.

Taygetos Mountain-Beekeeping
After your breakfast, you will visit a bee farm at Taygetos Mountain where you will have the experience of beekeeping and honey making. The nature of the mountain allows bees to create honey with variety of tastes depending on the seasons and the flowers in bloom. In order to see up close the bee units, you have to wear the protective uniform, which we provide. After the presentation of the history, procedures and information on beekeeping and honey, you will have the chance to try several varieties of honey, with strained yogurt, organic fruits and lunch with honey based recipes. Head back to the hotel for overnight.

Departure
Today after breakfast, you will depart for Athens Airport, with the most memorable Peloponnese tour in your mind all the way back to homeland.
